The catacombs of San Vittorino, built on the site where the saint was martyred, lie beneath the church of San Michele Arcangelo and consist of six rooms dug into the rock, intended to house the burials of the faithful.
In the main area is the tomb of the martyr, built at the behest of Bishop Quodvultdeus who had, in the 5th century AD, a marble edicule made with spolia pieces from the archaeological site of Amiternum and contemporary marble reliefs.
