Dopo dieci anni di restauro e riallestimento, il Museo Stefano Bardini si presenta al pubblico.

Influenced public and private collections worldwide deeply and the museographic solutions adopted by Bardini, such as the blue interiors, have been widely imitated.

With great insight Stefano Bardini rediscovered and spread the taste for Renaissance architectural decorations, stucco and terracotta sculpture, ancient oriental carpets, Venetian bronzes, leathers, frames.

Compared to the changes that have taken place since the 1920s until today, more related to the project of a Museo Civico than to the figure of the donor, the new layout recovers the spirit of the collection as intended by the antiquarian in view of the bequest to the Municipality of Florence upon his death, in 1922.
