Today, to reveal its past and traditions, there are also the Local History Museum, the churches, and the village streets framed by shops. The surroundings are beautiful, especially the southern region with Lake Zell and the Kimmler Waterfalls, 380 meters high. Returning to skiing, the Streiff slope is legendary, where World Cup races are held, with a gradient reaching up to 85%.
The area also includes the villages of Aurach, Reith, and Jochberg: 59 slopes, for a total of almost 150 km of skiable terrain between the Kitzbuheler Horn and the Pass Thurn, in the northeastern sector of Tyrol.
