Il Museo Diocesano di Cosenza is currently being set up. The works that will be exhibited come from the Cathedral and the churches in the area and include sacred silverware, paintings, and liturgical vestments from different periods and workshops. Among the masterpieces are the Staurotheca, a precious reliquary cross in gold, enamel, and precious stones, donated by Frederick II to the city of Cosenza, and the large canvas depicting the Immaculate and God the Father by the Neapolitan painter Luca Giordano.
