La Fondazione ’’De Palo-Ungaro’’ is located in a building that represents an important example of Bitontine residential architecture from the late 19th century. The building, situated in the heart of the city, just a few steps from the historic center, consists of two floors. On the ground floor is housed the Archaeological Museum of the Fondazione ’’De Palo-Ungaro’’, inaugurated on March 31, 2000 with the permanent exhibition titled ’Gli antichi Peucezi a Bitonto.
