The ‘De Palo-Ungaro’ Foundation is housed in a building that represents an important example of late 19th-century residential architecture in Bitonto. The building, located in the heart of the city, just a few steps from the old town center, consists of two floors. On the ground floor is the Archaeological Museum of the ‘De Palo-Ungaro’ Foundation, inaugurated on March 31, 2000, with a permanent exhibition titled ‘The Ancient Peuceti in Bitonto. Documents and Images from the Via Traiana Necropolis’.
