Il museo “Casa Natale di Gabriele d’Annunzio” occupies the first floor of the building where the Poet was born and spent his childhood and still preserves the original nineteenth-century atmosphere, with its elegant wall decorations and period furnishings, which return in his work in the form of visions, impressions, and memories, mainly linked to the strong significance that family affections had for him.
The visit retraces the succession of the first five rooms, which make up the original core of the house-museum, each of which includes the description the Poet gives in the Notturno. The following rooms have been dedicated to the exhibition of photos, documents, books, casts, and memorabilia representing the figure of the Poet.
