During the excavation work carried out to create an underground storage for books to the north of the A. Maj Civic Library, in the lawn area located between Rivola and Aquila Nera streets, in Bergamo Alta, on land owned by the Municipality of Bergamo and the Fabbriceria del Duomo, Roman and pre-Roman archaeological layers and Roman structures have emerged.
