Antica officina Radin, museo dell’artigianato breganzese, Breganze

The workshop, specialized in ironworking, is located on the right bank of the Chiavone Bianco. The workshop was opened in 1923 by Antonio Radin. More than 150 apprentices have passed through the Radin workshop, training “on the job.”

Entering the premises that maintain the characteristic structure of artisan shops active between the twenties and the post-War period, you breathe the air of another time. Times when the skill of man prevailed over technology and artisan ingenuity was able to make up for the lack of equipment.

The passion of Gabriele Radin has brought new life to a place rich in memory and able to offer young generations an eloquent testimony of times at risk of being erased by neglect. Many machines have been restored; the equipment is in perfect working order.

Alongside the rich collection provided by the Radin family, you can visit the collection of “battirame” objects and tools donated to the Association by the Sorio family.
