Il Beer Festival, also known as the Beer Festival, takes place in May inside the Carlsberg brewery, in Valby, a district of Copenhagen.
This is the historic home of the famous blonde beer known worldwide, although the production process has been moved elsewhere for some time. However, the location is too important to be completely abandoned, so it has been dedicated to this type of event.
At the center of the Beer Festival in Copenhagen is obviously the beer, with particular attention to Danish beer. Craft breweries, larger entities, historic producers, but also space for foreign beers: the Copenhagen Beer Festival is a rich and broad showcase, as well as a moment of joviality, fun, and deepening of beer culture. Therefore, the event is not only for industry insiders but open to everyone.
Since 2001 Danish beer enthusiasts have organized the annual Beer Festival in Copenhagen.
The festival is open to connoisseurs and enthusiasts, but also to curious people who want to taste some new beer or simply have fun in a cheerful and lively atmosphere. At the Beer Festival you will find a wide selection of Danish and international beers, precisely more than 1000 beer varieties from 200 producers in Denmark and foreign breweries.
