Important Notes

  • Triple rooms in Japan usually consist of two single beds or a double, with a foldable third bed—this can be uncomfortable. We recommend avoiding them whenever possible.
  • Check with your international vaccination center for recommended health precautions for Japan.
  • Depending on the return flight, the trip duration may extend by one day.
  • Double beds are uncommon in Japan. If you require double rooms, inform us in advance. We’ll do our best, but cannot guarantee availability—assignments depend on the hotel at arrival. Single rooms may also be smaller than doubles.
  • People with tattoos are often not allowed in onsen (public baths) for cultural reasons. Small tattoos may sometimes be covered with bandages, but access for larger tattoos is not assured.
  • Check the documentation required for entry into Japan.
  • Luggage is sent separately by road from Tokyo to Osaka. Bring a carry-on with everything you’ll need for your night in Kaga Onsen.
  • The itinerary could change for organizational reasons without notice, while maintaining all visits (except in cases of bad weather).
  • Credit cards may be required as a guarantee and may be essential for hotel check-in.
  • Prices are based on current ticket rates at program publication. Should rates increase, you will be informed.
