New appointments at Volotea, low-cost airline. Gabriel Schmilovich is the new Chief Strategy Officer.
From January 2020, Gabriel Schmilovich has held the role of Senior Strategy Director at Volotea. During this period, he led the redesign of the carrier’s network in view of the resumption of operations, working closely with the Commercial Management.
The team devised a strategy focused on the domestic market, which saw the launch of 40 new routes, allowing Volotea to achieve a load factor of 90.7% and transport, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, 3.8 million passengers last year.
With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Gabriel, previously involved in Vueling and Spanair, will be in charge of the network and strategic decisions of the company, planning its activities and route development.
