20 New Routes to Saudi Arabia

20 new routes from Europe to Saudi Arabia, of which 8 from Italy, further expanding its network and ushering in a new era of ultra-low-cost travel opportunities to Saudi Arabia.

The new routes, which from Italy will connect Catania, Milan, Naples, Rome and Venice to Jeddah and Riyadh, will significantly strengthen Wizz Air’s presence in Saudi Arabia, boosting the growing Saudi tourism sector and contributing to the Vision 2030 program, which aims to triple the country’s passenger traffic by 2030.

Thanks to this operation, Wizz Air will help bring over one million additional travelers to Saudi Arabia next year.

The easing of anti-COVID-19 restrictions and the removal of the PCR test requirement for vaccinated travelers also made travel easier, allowing for more international trips.

3 New Routes from Naples and Milan and Flight to Marsa Alam

The new routes, which will connect Italy biweekly to Naples to Abu Dhabi and Milan Malpensa to Yerevan, Armenia, and to Marsa Alam, Egypt, represent an important addition to the already rich portfolio of destinations for Wizz Air’s 2022-2023 winter season.

On this occasion, Wizz Air also announces the opening of the new Marsa Alam station, the fifth in Egypt, which will further strengthen Wizz Air’s presence in the country, boosting tourism to a highly appreciated destination known for its stunning waters, ideal for snorkeling and diving, its enchanting beaches, and its unspoiled nature.

New Flight from Rome to Dammam

The new ultra-low-cost route will boost the thriving tourism industry in both Italy and Saudi Arabia, bringing a new era of accessible, hassle-free, direct travel to Dammam. The route will be served by biweekly flights.
