La collection consists of about 700 votive tablets documenting the devotion of the faithful to this place of prayer. These are ex-votos of thanksgiving for an illness cured, for a disaster avoided, or for a grace obtained. The particularly wide chronological range, from the 1400s to the present day, also offers a clear view of social transformations evidenced by the analysis of the iconography.
