The Telecom Italia Historical Archive was inaugurated in Turin in 1998 and is among the largest corporate archives in Italy and Europe. It preserves the documentary heritage of telecommunications companies that have been an important part of the economic and industrial history of our country: a long journey, started in the nineteenth century, spanning the entire twentieth century and reaching up to the present day. Retracing this path means shedding light on the evolution of a strategic sector that has transformed the lives of Italians. The Archive, recognized as being of significant historical interest, is under the protection of the Superintendency for Archival Heritage of Piedmont of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.
