I Danish Easter celebrations already begin with the arrival of spring, when flowers are bought in abundance, such as primroses, daffodils, tulips, snowdrops or hyacinths, whose bulbs will be planted in the garden at the end of the Easter rites.
One of the peculiarities of the Danish people is indeed the cult they have for open spaces, the care and dedication they devote to the maintenance and beautification of gardens.
A similar tradition is that of the Easter tree: some branches are cut from trees and bushes in the gardens and decorated with motifs and typical Easter ornaments. These decorations are so carefully made and particular that they are even more characteristic and pleasant than Christmas ones.
Just like in Germany, in Denmark the Easter bunny is also venerated and celebrated, from which, according to popular belief, come the classic and indispensable Easter eggs: it is indeed the cute bunny that brings and scatters the delicious chocolate eggs in every corner of the house and garden of Danish families. In reality, it is the parents who hide the colorful eggs on Easter Eve night for the children to find the following morning.

Even adults do not avoid the celebrations, satisfying their palate and feasting with a special beer for the occasion, the Paskebryg. It is a type of beer that is produced and marketed exclusively during this time of year and is slightly stronger than the traditional blonde beer.
