Museum of the Cathedral of Cagliari

Inaugurated in 2004, the Museo del Duomo is located in the premises adjacent to the Cathedral of Santa Maria. It houses part of the Cathedral’s Treasure, which includes bequests from the archbishops who succeeded each other in the Church of Cagliari, donations of liturgical objects, and numerous silver items such as chalices, pyxes, monstrances, processional crosses, crucifixes, as well as wooden statues and paintings of great importance and interest.
