The Museum, established in 1960, collects and preserves the relics of the regiment and the campaign in North Africa 1940/1943.
First room: to the Fallen Officers and the Commander’s study.
Second room: to the Officers and the campaign in North Africa.
Third room: to the Africa Korps and former enemy forces.
The Museum has a regimental Historical Office that gathers a small library, photographs, documents, newspapers, which can be consulted by appointment by phone.
Outside, beyond the Commander’s tomb, the “slope of remembrance” has been created, which collects the memorial stones of forgotten units, first of all those of our faithful Colonial troops and those of the Italian Social Republic (a concession desired by all the Volunteers, so that the survivors of those formations would have a place to honor their Fallen); the sacrifice of life for Italy knows no political distinctions.
