: The museum and its related “Path of waters, flowers, fruits and edible herbs” were established by the Municipality of Lubriano, with the main goal of preserving and enhancing the centuries-old traditions linked to the gathering and use of herbs and fruits. Alongside educational and outreach activities, the Museum also aims to serve as a territorial reference point for the development of scientific research projects in the botanical, wildlife, and hydrobiological fields. The entire area of the Valle dei Calanchi, which can be largely viewed from Lubriano, is very evocative and particularly interesting from the landscape, vegetation, and wildlife perspectives. It has long been an ideal place for agricultural development, with a unique microclimate due to protection from the cold northern winds and the availability of water from numerous springs. Thus, a dense network of roads connecting nearby settlements has formed. Rural roads, mild spring temperatures, numerous spontaneous blooms, and the peculiar shapes of the calanchi that characterize and modify the surrounding landscape make the whole valley a fascinating hiking site, as attractive as it is still little known to most, and therefore completely to be discovered.
