The Flower Museum is an interactive and multimedia museum born within the Monte Rufeno Regional Nature Reserve, designed to offer insights to learn about the world of flowers, discover nature and the remarkable blooms of our territory and its traditions, linked to the Pugnaloni festival.
The museum structure has been conceived as a narrative that offers the opportunity to learn through play, to have fun and to spend a pleasant day completely immersed in nature, using a wide range of communication tools: interactive instruments, multimedia, and games, as well as educational workshops and the playroom. The Museum also offers outdoor paths, such as the Flower Nature Trail and a botanical garden, which allow direct contact with the forest environment and its secrets.
The premises of the Museum and the external botanical garden host, in addition to school groups and tourists who visit them, also cultural events such as temporary exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, debates, presentations of scientific and popular publications.
Cultural events can be held, in addition to the garden in front of the museum, also inside the premises. Both the large rooms hosting the installations and two rooms already set up as projection and conference rooms located on the ground floor are available.
All the premises of the Flower Museum are accessible and usable by people with disabilities.
