Plunacker in Villanders is one of the most important archaeological sites with findings dating back to around 5,000 BC, from the Copper and Bronze Ages. There are also traces of Roman settlements starting from the 2nd century BC. The remains of Roman and medieval constructions constitute the main attraction of the ArcheoParc Villanders.
