Inaugurated in 2001, initially located in the historic village of Alberona, the “Museum of Peasant Civilization” is currently being set up in the rural area “Borgo Vaccareccia-Mezzana” in a recently renovated municipal building; consisting of two large rooms, it hosts several sections for each type of preserved artifact. In the museum rooms, the historical puzzle of ancient crafts is reconstructed, there is space for testimonies dating back to the First and Second World Wars, as well as those concerning the fascist twenty-year period. The Museum also dedicates part of its premises to the reconstruction of family environments dating back to the early 1900s, with furniture, objects, tools, and period furnishings.
