In the Galleries, housed in 24 rooms, is preserved the most important collection of Venetian painting from the Fourteenth to the Eighteenth century, which includes some absolute masterpieces such as “The Tempest” by Giorgione, “The Pietà” by Titian, “The cycle of the stories of Saint Ursula” by Carpaccio from the school of the same name, and “The Feast in the House of Levi” by Veronese.
On the top floor of the Palladian convent is housed the Picture Gallery, open to the public free of charge, only by reservation. The Drawing Cabinet of the Galleries of the Academy holds, among others, some of the most important sheets of Western culture, including “The Vitruvian Man” by Leonardo.
