Four elements contribute to the excellent qualification of the site:
- The long and harmonious facade;
- The monumental staircase leading to the noble floor;
- The refined frescoed rooms, including the throne room, the ancient library, and the palatine chapel;
- The spectacular Italian-style garden, enriched with 18th-century marble busts.
This historical-architectural context of particular quality houses the exhibition sections that make up the museum. On the ground floor are valuable sacred furnishings and liturgical silver instruments, as well as elegant and refined liturgical vestments used by the Bishops in solemn religious ceremonies.
