FROM ITALY TO FRANCE

French authorities require travelers to present a molecular test (specifically real-time RT-PCR), taken within 72 hours prior to departure for France. Antigen tests are not accepted.
This requirement applies to all travelers over 11 years old arriving from EU countries, including Italy, regardless of the mode of transport (airplane, train, car, ship, bus, etc.). The following are exempt from testing: cross-border workers, transport staff, and residents of border areas who live within 30 km of the border and whose stay does not exceed 24 hours.
Currently, the molecular test is mandatory even for those who have been vaccinated.
Everyone entering France by any means must fill out a self-declaration form.
