The Museum was established in the year 2000 thanks to the commitment of the Association for the Enhancement of the Peasant Civilization of the province of Piacenza. The exhibition is hosted at the Raineri Agricultural Institute in the School Center located at via Agazzana 35 PC. The exhibited objects were collected starting from the 1980s by Mr. Roberto Porcari. The photographs by the great Piacenza photographer Tino Petrelli complete the exhibition from a historical and artistic perspective. The heritage of machinery, tools, objects related to agricultural work, family life, and the ancient crafts of the Peasant Civilization is enhanced through the creation of environments that recreate a society that no longer exists. The exhibition is divided into environments that reconstruct agricultural work, family life, and artisanal activities that characterized that society with its traditions, its hardships, and its values
