The Mining Museum, built on the ancient extraction shaft of the Spoleto mining complex, is a symbolic place of memory, both for the importance of the work and its central role in the extraction system, and for the tragic events it witnessed in 1955 that forever marked the collective memory of the city of Spoleto. The museum offers entry and a visit to the SpoletoMiniere exhibition, collections of materials, artifacts, preserved documents, and viewing of films made with direct testimonies from former miners.
