The Fruit Museum was inaugurated on February 12, 2007, with the acquisition of the collection of artificial fruits modeled by Francesco Garnier Valletti. The city of Turin took on the task of housing not only the collection but also the library and other historical assets of the Agricultural Chemistry Station. Collaboration with the University allowed finding a location in the San Salvario district, in a wing vacated by the Faculty of Agriculture, in the Palazzo degli Studi Anatomici.
