From July 3rd to August 18th, 2020, American Airlines will operate 14 direct flights per week from Rome Fiumicino to Dallas.
American Airlines e Airports of Rome announce the introduction of a new daily flight that will double the direct connections from Rome Fiumicino to Dallas Fort Worth, United States, during the summer season of 2020, offering passengers departing from or arriving in Rome 2 direct flights per day from Italy’s main airport to American’s largest hub. From there, the airline operates up to 900 flights per day, allowing passengers to continue on to numerous destinations throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Starting from July 3 until August 18, 2020, American Airlines will operate a total of 14 direct flights per week from the Italian capital to Texas’s capital, using Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-200 aircraft, which offer passengers three different travel experiences: Flagship Business, Premium Economy, and Main Cabin.

Flagship Business passengers are also provided with Bang & Olufsen branded headphones and earbuds.

The Main Cabin offers 48 “Main Cabin Extra” seats in a 3-3-3 configuration, providing passengers with up to six centimeters of extra legroom, and 138 “Main Cabin” seats, also in a 3-3-3 configuration. Each seat is equipped with a 9-inch Panasonic HD touchscreen offering a wide range of movies, TV programs, games, and music selections. Every Main Cabin seat features a universal AC power outlet, USB port, and a screen for access to the onboard entertainment platform.
The Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner aircraft provide a next-generation flight experience with larger windows featuring adjustable brightness, improved air quality on board thanks to a higher humidity rate, and optimized cabin acoustics.
The summer 2020 season will bring another new feature: the seasonal flight schedule from Rome Fiumicino to New York JFK will be extended by about a month and will be available starting from March 30, 2020.
With the introduction of the second daily direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Dallas Fort Worth, American Airlines will operate up to 42 direct flights per week from Rome Fiumicino to the airports of New York JFK, Dallas Fort Worth DFW, Chicago ORD, Philadelphia PHL, and Charlotte CLT.
