Flibco has enhanced the connection service between downtown Turin and the Turin Airport with the introduction of three new state-of-the-art buses and the addition of 10 daily trips. This initiative increases the overall capacity of the service by 40%, meeting the growing demand for airport mobility in the Piedmont region. The new vehicles, operated in collaboration with Bus Company, are designed to ensure greater comfort and transport capacity. Moreover, they incorporate technologies aimed at energy efficiency and consumption reduction, helping to make the service more sustainable.
A distinctive element of the fleet renewal is the particular focus on accessibility: all three buses are equipped with ramps to facilitate access for people with mobility disabilities, confirming Flibco’s commitment to inclusive mobility.
The service enhancement with 10 additional daily trips enables a broader time coverage and greater flexibility for travelers needing to reach Turin Airport or return to the city. The main stops are at the Autostazione Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and the Porta Nuova station, making the connection practical and easily accessible for residents, tourists, and business travelers.
Giuseppe Martino, Country Manager of Flibco Italy, emphasized that the investment aims to strengthen Flibco’s presence in Piedmont and to offer an increasingly efficient, accessible, and sustainable service, in line with the mobility needs of the territory. Andrea Andorno, CEO of Turin Airport, highlighted the importance of this enhancement in relation to the growth of passenger traffic and the launch of new flights, stressing the shared commitment to a simpler, integrated, and inclusive travel experience.
