Trenitalia announces the launch of a new route operated by Frecciargento: Naples - Bolzano.
Starting from next February 28, 2016, two very distant cities will be connected by a new rail route.
Trenitalia has announced the upcoming departure of new trains that will link Naples to Bolzano.
The Frecciarossa trains will undertake the journey, which is an extension of the existing railway route between Rome and Bolzano. There will be four daily connections served by the Trenitalia – Ferrovie dello Stato network, with the possibility of boarding or alighting at intermediate stops between Naples and Bolzano.
The Frecciargento trains will follow this route:
– Naples
– Rome
– Florence
– Bologna
– Verona
– Rovereto
– Trento
– Bolzano.
Therefore, in less than six hours, travelers will be able to move between the two termini of the new railway line, while between Naples and Verona, the journey will take just four hours.
To promote the launch of this new mobility solution between Naples and Bolzano, Trenitalia has decided to relaunch the initiative called “Special AV – 50%”, which has always been highly appreciated and requested by travelers.
