The event targeted at the out-of-hotel hospitality sector and independent hotels, is about to hold its first edition on November 5 and 6, 2021 in Milan – a strategic city for the national and international market – at the MiCo, Milan Convention Centre, the vibrant heart of CityLife district.
The event, dedicated to the extra-sector hospitality in all its forms, is organized by Fiera di Norimberga (NürnbergMesse Italia), one of the top 15 trade fair companies worldwide and is born to respond in a practical and productive way to the evolution, growth, and revitalization of out-of-hotel accommodations and hotellerie, excluding hotel chains.
For years, the sector has been subject to continuous innovation and evolution and has seen the emergence of new and diverse accommodation solutions, as well as the development of various related activities and services. The market offers availability of out-of-hotel structures five times greater than traditional offerings: more than half are entrepreneurial accommodation options, followed by B&Bs and other forms of lodging that are gaining popularity: farm holidays, guest houses, charming homes, co-living, condo-hotels with a hybrid setup up to holiday rentals and short-term rentals, a phenomenon that is attracting increasing interest.
The scenario for small and independent hotels also presents interesting data: in fact, Italian structures in this category, including residence hotels, boutique hotels, dispersed hotels, relais chateaux, hostels, and concept hotels, are playing an increasingly significant role in the landscape of Italian accommodation facilities.
