The most convenient destination, yet one that offers the chance to experience a unique vacation even in winter, thanks to its variety of history, culture, and nature, is the Mediterranean. The flagship Costa Toscana will embark on one-week cruises exploring Italy, France, and Spain, with stops in the Balearic Islands and Sicily, each with four over 10-hour stops to fully enjoy the onshore experiences. The itinerary includes Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, and Civitavecchia/Rome.
The Caribbean is perfect for a warm getaway, with white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Costa Fortuna and Costa Fascinosa will each offer two different one-week itineraries, alternating, which can be combined into a single two-week vacation. The proposed package is the “flight + cruise” option. Costa Fortuna will sail exclusively among the Little Antilles. The first itinerary includes Guadeloupe, Tortola, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia, and Martinique; the second includes Guadeloupe, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St. Vincent, Barbados, and Martinique. All stops are at least 10 hours long to comfortably enjoy these beautiful islands, engaging in activities such as snorkeling, discovering local traditions, or tasting Caribbean delicacies.
Costa Fascinosa’s first itinerary is an immersive experience in the Dominican Republic, featuring long stops among mangrove forests, coffee plantations, and a whole day at Catalina, Costa’s exclusive island. The stops include La Romana (Dominican Republic), Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Turk, Amber Cove (Dominican Republic), Samaná (Dominican Republic), and Catalina Island (Dominican Republic). The second itinerary explores six of the most beautiful Caribbean islands, stopping at La Romana (Dominican Republic), St. Lucia, Barbados, Guadeloupe, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, to explore beaches, caves, botanical gardens, or swim with rays.
Another destination to enjoy a warm winter, but closer to home, is the United Arab Emirates, where Costa Smeralda will operate. The week-long cruises will visit Dubai (UAE), with a two-day stop, Muscat (Oman), Doha (Qatar), Abu Dhabi (UAE), allowing guests to experience ancient traditions, nature, and the futuristic cities of this region.
The 2025 edition of the Around the World trip onboard Costa Deliziosa will circumnavigate the globe mainly in the southern hemisphere, visiting Tierra del Fuego, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. For the first time, departures will start on December 7, 2024, allowing travelers to enjoy Christmas holidays on a cruise. The New Year’s Eve in Rio de Janeiro will be unforgettable, with a spectacular fireworks display from Copacabana Beach.
