Italo arrives in Cilento and Calabria

From June 14, with the start of the summer schedule, Italo will connect new cities to its network. In anticipation of a season focused on domestic tourism, the company will operate 4 daily services to Cilento and Calabria.

Italoreaches Reggio Calabria starting from June 14, with no changes required, offering direct connections from Turin, Milan, Reggio Emilia, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, and Salerno.

There will be intermediate stops allowing you to reach the Cilento area as well. These are the stops:

  • Agropoli/Castellabate;
  • Vallo della Lucania;
  • Sapri;
  • Paola;
  • Lamezia Terme;
  • Rosarno;
  • Villa San Giovanni;
  • Reggio Calabria.

Travelers will also have the opportunity to reach the Sicilian archipelagos directly from Reggio Calabria and Villa San Giovanni, as well as enjoy the beauty of Calabria.

Tickets for these new destinations are on sale from today: there will be 2 departures from Turin to Reggio Calabria (5:23 and 13:19), and just as many from Reggio to head back North (7:30 and 13:30). A new area of the country served by Italo, full of artistic and natural beauty waiting to be rediscovered.

July will also be a highlight for Italo: 6 new services will be introduced, connecting some already existing cities in the Italo network with the new stops at Rimini, Riccione, Pesaro, and Ancona. New destinations that will allow Italian families to enjoy a truly Italian relaxation.

Italo ticket offices have reopened, in compliance with all safety regulations, at the stations of Turin Porta Susa, Turin Porta Nuova, Milan Centrale, Rome Termini, and Naples Centrale, to always guarantee assistance and support to travelers during purchase and beyond.
