L’appellativo di Ciudad Eterna, Roma se lo merece todo por ese binomio entre la modernidad de la metrópoli y la staticidad de monumentos que, a lo largo de los siglos, han servido de telón de fondo a sucesos históricos, cambios en la ciudad y la vida cotidiana.

Путешествие в Рим не может начаться иначе, чем с купола Базилики Святого Петра: это первое здание, которое ищут на фоне крыш Рима, чтобы затем погрузиться в просторы нефов и белизну мраморов в сердце Ватикана.

Впереди направляемся к Виа дель Корсо с местами для шоппинга на Виа Фраттина и Виа Кондотти, пока не окажемся на Пьяцца ди Спаньа и у Тринита дей Монти, обязательных для посещения мест во время путешествия в Рим.
Справа от Алтаря Отечества, повернувшись спиной, открывается взгляд на Рим древнего величия и истории: Римские Императорские Форумы.
Second day: what to see in Rome
The Trajan’s Markets offer the first welcome to visitors before continuing towards the Forum of Caesar, the Forum of Augustus, the Forum of Peace, and the Forum of Nerva.
Along the Via dei Fori you proceed quickly towards the Colosseum or Flavian Amphitheater. Reaching the Quirinal Hill is easy, so you move between older and more recent architectures until finding some refreshment in front of the Trevi Fountain, a sculpture very famous all over the world, dedicated to the sea.
Memorable, among these waters, is Anita Ekberg’s sexy walk inviting Marcello Mastroianni to join her, in a scene from the film La Dolce Vita.
Third day: what to see in Rome
Rome is not just monuments and glories of the past: Rome is also the bustling crowd that talks and meets in the many squares of the city, to be explored on foot or with the help of means such as city buses and the metro. Even better by bike.
After so much walking, there is nothing more refreshing than a break on the heights of Pincian Hill: from here you can overlook all of Rome, just a step from the fresh foliage of Villa Borghese and the spacious Piazza del Popolo.
In the evening Trastevere becomes the center of social life, among bar tables and trattorias where to eat, along suggestive alleys that reveal the popular heart of the most famous city in the world.
By the time you realize it’s time to go to sleep in a hotel or one of the many B&Bs in Rome, you already want to go wandering through the city again, convinced that it is already time to organize your next vacation in Rome!
