Le Scuderie Aldobrandini, already visible in the engraving by Matheus Greuter from 1620, were originally built as a service structure for the homonymous villa. With the architectural restoration designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, a multifunctional space was created with original innovations suitable for presenting both the permanent archaeological collection and art exhibitions, educational workshops, multimedia spaces, and an auditorium. The collection of artifacts at the Tuscolano Museum, located on the ground floor, represents one of the few historical collections in the province of Rome. The visit itinerary, chronological-thematic, mainly relates to the Republican and Imperial eras, concluding in the historical-artistic section where models of the Tuscolane Villas are displayed alongside various valuable ancient engravings. The most substantial core of the collection features numerous materials found in Tusculum, including those recently discovered in the Forum and Theater area by the Spanish School of History and Archaeology. The historical-artistic section exhibits ten wooden models of the Tuscolane Villas and numerous rare engravings and medals related to Renaissance villas and famous figures such as the Duke of York, bishop of the diocese of Frascati.
