The museum was established by Prof. Lemoigne in 1848. In two rooms, veterinary anatomical specimens are preserved, many of which are “dry preparations,” as well as some papier-mâché models, one of which is the work of Professor Waldinger, donated to the Veterinary School in the year of its foundation (1845). The museum’s collection totals 566 artifacts, which also include skeletons of animals of various species and sizes.
