BWH Hotels expands its network in Southern Italy with 40 hotels and over 2,000 rooms

BWH Hotels Italy & South-East Europe strengthens its presence in the South with the addition of two new 4-star properties, reaching a total of 40 hotels and exceeding 2,000 rooms, representing about 22% of the national portfolio.

BWH Hotels Italy & South-East Europe accelerates its expansion in Southern Italy with the official addition of two new properties to the network: the Sure Hotel Collection By Best Western Sakura in Torre del Greco (Naples) and the Best Western Hotel Palace in Lucera (Foggia). These additions bring the total to 40 hotels in Southern Italy, with a portfolio exceeding 2,000 rooms, representing about 22% of the Group’s entire national network.

According to Fabrizio Doria, Chief Development Officer of BWH Hotels Italy & SEE, Southern Italy is central to the Group’s development plans. The inclusion of the two properties confirms BWH Hotels’ ability to offer widespread and thorough coverage of the territory, enhancing both key destinations and secondary locations. The Group’s business model guarantees independent hoteliers the commercial strength and visibility of an international brand, while maintaining their managerial autonomy and local identity.

Best Western Hotel Palace in Lucera: an oasis of hospitality and wellness

The Hotel Palace in Lucera affiliates with the Best Western brand, positioning itself as a strategic point to discover the authenticity and cultural heritage of the Monti Dauni and the province of Foggia. The 4-star property offers 101 spacious and bright rooms, suitable for both business trips and relaxing stays, with options ranging from Comfort rooms to Family and Suites with private terraces.

The jewel of the hotel is the “Aquam” SPA spanning 1,500 sqm, a wellness center also open to external guests, complemented by a free gym and an outdoor relaxation area with solarium, to which a new pool will be added. The on-site restaurant “Il Mirto” can accommodate up to 250 guests and offers the authentic flavors of local cuisine.

For the business segment, the hotel features a Congress Center with 5 meeting rooms free of structural columns, capable of hosting from 20 to 250 participants, complemented by coworking spaces. The property also offers free parking with 100 spaces, a shuttle to and from Foggia, and connections on request to Bari airport.

Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western Sakura: hospitality at the foot of Vesuvius

The Hotel Sakura in Torre del Greco joins the network under the Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western brand, bringing the number of BWH properties in Campania to 14, with a portfolio exceeding 700 rooms. The 4-star property is located 20 km from Naples Capodichino airport and offers 39 cozy rooms suitable for business travel and tourism, including guests with pets.

Breakfast is served in a dedicated room, while the restaurant “Il Ciliegio” offers an intimate dining area with 46 covers and a banquet hall for up to 160 people, with the option to dine outdoors during the summer season.

The property features a large free parking area with 200 spaces and a bus stop about 500 meters away. The Congress Center includes 5 meeting rooms accommodating 8 to 156 people, offering spacious and bright environments ideal for conferences and workshops.
