Visit USA Italy: New Affiliate Campaign Launch

After the passing of Massimo Loquenzi, at the head of Visit USA Italy, the board has undergone a reshuffle, and Francesco Paradisi (Vice President) becomes the leader of the association. Meanwhile, the affiliate campaign has started.

A natural reshuffle for Visit USA Italy, which in November lost Massimo Loquenzi, prematurely due to Covid. Francesco Paradisi (NCL) takes his place and, with the new board, launches the affiliate campaign. Paradisi, together with the presidency and overall supervision, will oversee digital activities and social media; Ivana Di Stasio (I Viaggi del Delfino) becomes Vice President with responsibility for media relations; Nicolò Sessa (American Airlines) is reconfirmed in his role developing projects for the trade and maintaining relations with airlines.

New advisors: Mia Hezi (Aviareps) with responsibility for relations with American members, Eleonora Leccardi (BWH Hotel Group) for relations with U.S. Commercial Service, Showcase USA, and IPW, and Damien Tamburo (America World) who will manage relations with members.

These days, the affiliate campaign for 2021 has started with U.S. tourism entities and Italian companies and will conclude by the end of the month. Among the many reconfirmations are also new entities that will provide fresh momentum to the Association’s activities.

“In December, after overcoming the shock of losing our President, we strengthened the Board by creating a working group capable of responding to Members’ needs in a flexible and modern way, with the awareness that forming an Association today is more important than ever,” says Francesco Paradisi – President of Visit USA.

“We are experiencing strong interest in the activities scheduled for 2021, which will feature significant digital components. We will see a particularly active Visit USA throughout the year. With the professionalism of our longstanding Members and the creative enthusiasm of new affiliates, we believe we can play an important role in the travel recovery process,” says Ivana Di Stasio – Vice President of Visit USA.

Without hesitation, we are preparing to elevate Visit USA, with the support of all Italian and American Members, to a new level of market presence. Currently, meetings are underway among Members to refine the program of promotional and training activities about the United States aimed at the trade, including a series of update webinars on destinations, an advanced training course in English, and a digital training project specifically focused on communication about the U.S. product.

Who is Visit USA?

The Visit USA Italy Association is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to promote and develop tourism from Italy to the United States. Its members include Italian tour operators, airlines, U.S. tourism entities, car rental companies, cruise lines, and hotel chains. The association has been active in Italy for over 20 years to improve awareness and promote the image of the United States of America as a tourist destination; to promote training programs on transportation and stays in the U.S.; and to provide members and all tourism sector operators in Italy with opportunities for discussion and analysis of issues related to tourism and transportation to the United States.
