Arezzo Destination Academy is born, a new project dedicated to those operating in the tourism sector and territorial development.
Inspiration, dissemination, sharing, and training: the Arezzo Intour Foundation presents the Arezzo Destination Academy, the new project dedicated to tourism operators and those involved in territorial development, aiming to enhance professionalism, offers, and services.
One year after the start of the pandemic that drastically changed people, habits, and lifestyles, it is necessary to “rethink”, then “restart”.
Especially in the world of tourism, where it is very difficult now to establish what the “new normality” will be and where tools and ideas are needed to inspire future scenarios: in fact, it will be necessary to respond to new traveler needs, trends, and purchasing behaviors.
To support tourism operators in this challenging “restart” phase, the Arezzo Destination Academy has already prepared the “Experience Design Laboratory,” a program created to provide all the necessary tools for building “experience”.
The course has a limited number of participants. All interested parties can apply to participate, although priority booking is reserved for Foundation members, for whom significant advantages have been planned.
The Academy will also focus on “dissemination.” Thematic meetings will be organized to discuss “trends” and new tourist products of the territory. Among the first topics is digital detox.
There will also be multidisciplinary events organized through “Open day labs,” periodic appointments open to everyone to “inspire” through the knowledge of success stories, “good practices,” or meetings with figures who have developed new business models.
Also under consideration is the creation of a “human library,” a catalog of people (like a book catalog) where entrepreneurs of any kind, grandparents, and professionals can be “borrowed” for free for an hour to tell their story or point of view in the spirit of “sharing”.
