Volotea launches the new Verona-Barcelona route and announces increased frequencies on existing routes for Christmas 2020.
Volotea, the airline company low-cost that connects medium and small cities and European capitals, today announced the launch of its new commercial offer for the 2020 Christmas holidays. This offer sees the carrier committed to strengthening its network in Italy, France e Spain and that, right in Verona, translates into the launch of a new connection to Barcelona and the increase of frequencies on already available routes.
At the Verona airport, Volotea is offering, during the holiday season, a total of 8 routes, 1 international (Barcelona – new for 2020) and 7 domestic (Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Naples, Olbia, and Palermo) for over 63,000 seats on sale.
Also for the Christmas period, the company has announced across its entire network, the launch of 10 new routes and increased frequencies on its classic routes. Volotea will take off, at an international level, with 143 routes, 60 of which are exclusive, for more than half a million seats available, thus registering a 33% increase in its offer compared to the same period in 2019.
In the countries where it operates, Volotea, which has made its offer available for flights from December 17, 2020 to January 11, 2021, has reshaped its network focusing significantly on domestic connections, which represent 82% of the seats offered in the coldest months. The company, in line with the increased frequency of its winter routes, has announced 10 new connections, each operating 2 flights per week.
