Durban is a particularly active and flourishing city industrially and commercially, the most important center of the Kwazulu-Natal province and, according to sector studies, one of the fastest-growing cities in the world.
1 Durban, historic center

But in Durban, there are many spaces dedicated to art and culture, such as the African Art Centre, housed in the former post office building, which functions both as an art gallery and as a workshop for experimenting with various forms of modern creativity. Nearby, the Workshop Mall stands out, a large shopping center overlooking the very green Central Park.
3 Durban, Indian district
Those who love exotic and oriental atmospheres should not miss a visit to Grey Street, the Indian district near the station area, where the Juma Musijd mosque stands tall, with a huge dome and golden minarets: it is the largest in the entire southern hemisphere, and to visit it you must be properly dressed and take off your shoes.
