Il Museo della Carta is divided into two sections: the museum headquarters in piazza della Croce, with informational material and classrooms, and the ancient paper mill Le Carte in via Mammianese Nord nn.229-231, where the vats, beaters, and other ancient machines for the shredding of rags and the preparation of pastes for paper are located: the ancient factory, completely renovated, will become the future headquarters of the New Paper Museum of Pescia.
