"Original Padua” among its proposals it offers the route that Paduans are most fond of, because they see another Padua, the Padua that everyone would like to… find in their own city!

It is no coincidence that the itinerary begins precisely where the most famous watercourse in the world begins: the Riviera del Brenta. You can savor the short but exciting stretch of it that starts from Portello and, along the sixteenth-century walls, ends at Floodplain of San Massimo. A visit to is a must Walls and Bastions and then… a snack with an aperitif: sandwich canapés, puff pastry fantasies, prosecco from Valdobbiadene.

You then leave it Floodplain for a dive into modernity: the beautiful one, full of greenery. Through the dizzying cable-stayed walkway onto Via Venezia, an engineering, aesthetic and functional masterpiece, we arrive at Park of Europe, whose succession of curved lines and light contemporary works of art takes us to a greenhouse. It's about the "Crystal Garden”, a successful example of contemporary architecture whose high technological level and the passion of its director and gardener Antonio Brusaterra, allow the collection of rare succulent plants it houses, donated to Padua by prof., to be hosted and visited. Angelo Levis.

But our dialogue between the sixteenth century and the twenty-first century does not stop here. Before returning it's time to visit the contemporary monument to the victims of the attack on the Twin Towers, a work by Daniel Libeskind, and to the sixteenth century Conca delle Porte Contarine which stands next to it.

The excursion lasts half a day, it is carried out from March to November aboard Delta Nova, aelectric and ecological boat.
