The event format remains the same for this edition, with a large exhibition area hosting the leading players in the Italian tourism industry, from tour operators to cruise companies, from airlines to hotel chains, from Italian Regions to foreign tourism authorities and tourism service companies.<\/p>\n
Also confirmed are the four thematic workshops dedicated to promoting the Campania and Italy product in its various nuances: Incoming, Thermal & Wellness, Social Tourism, and Incentives & Congresses. The meetings \u2018one to one\u2019<\/em> between Italian offering and foreign demand will see the participation of 305 buyers already confirmed and coming from some of the most active countries on the Italian market, including Germany, France, Great Britain, Russia, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Japan, USA, China, Brazil, Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Korea, Scandinavian Countries, and India.<\/p>\n The program features the big Friday evening celebration again, which this year will be hosted in the Carriage Hall of the Pietrarsa Railway Museum.<\/p>\n BMT 2017 aims to reaffirm the importance of fairs as the only moment of confrontation on sector issues and the laws that protect tourism. For this reason, on<\/strong> Friday, March 24th, an operators’ meeting with honorable Antimo Cesaro, Undersecretary of State for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, is scheduled, where the sector’s requests elaborated earlier by the BMT consulting team will be addressed.<\/p>\n A series of analyses on tourism critical issues in Italy will be presented to the Undersecretary, aiming to open a dialogue on important topics such as reducing labor costs, incentives for hiring, and the re-modulation of Law 51.<\/p>\n During the weekend, meetings of UVET, Welcome Travel, and Bluvacanze are scheduled, as well as the presentation of Trenitalia’s programming and the conference \u201cDestination management: the levers for the takeoff of MICE in the Naples area\u201d organized by the Naples Convention Bureau.<\/p>\n The city has just presented its Strategic Tourism Plan, which aims to increase arrivals to Naples to two million tourists per year by 2020, with an important role played by the synergy between BMT and Naples Convention Bureau, which aims to make the Napoli destination a \u2018Permanent Conference Station\u2019 with the goal of organizing at least 50 major events per year.<\/p>\n Other moments of discussion at BMT were organized by Confesercenti Napoli with the round table \u201cItalian extrahotel accommodation, new economies for territories\u201d and by Rete Destinazione Sud with the conference \u201cThe creation of Destinations.
