No other requirements (COVID test) are needed, only proof of vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>It is announced by Visita Usa Italy which reports the note issued by the Consulate.<\/p>\n<p><em>Good afternoon Stakeholders,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We are sharing new DHS requirements that will require\u202fnon-U.S. individuals\u202fseeking to enter the United States via land ports of entry\u202fand\u202fferry terminals\u202fat\u202fthe U.S.-Mexico and U.S.-Canada\u202fborders\u202fto\u202fbe fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide related proof of vaccination,\u202fas COVID-19 cases continue to rise nationwide.\u202f<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>These changes will go into effect, Friday, January 21<sup>st<\/sup>, 2022, at 09:00 p.m. PST (local time).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>These new restrictions\u202fwill\u202fapply to non-U.S.\u202findividuals\u202fwho are traveling for both essential\u202fand\u202fnon-essential reasons.\u202fThey\u202fwill not apply to U.S. citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents, or U.S. nationals.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As travel resumes, wait times are expected to increase.\u202fWe encourage travelers to remember our San Diego Field Office travel tips when crossing the border:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Don\u2019t travel during peak times if avoidable.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Non-U.S. individuals need to verbally attest to their vaccination status.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Please Line up in the proper lanes.
