To also connect Sicily to the cities served by high-speed trains, together with the ticket for the <em>Frecce<\/em> it will also be possible to purchase a ticket for the high-speed ferry <em>BluJet<\/em> (FS Italiane Group) between Villa San Giovanni and Messina. The ferry and train schedules are integrated to ensure easy interchange between the two modes of transport.<\/p>\n<p>The daily connection by <em>Frecciarossa<\/em> to and from Reggio Calabria is the main new feature of Trenitalia\u2019s (FS Italiane Group) offer, which from the beginning of June includes 74 <em>Frecce<\/em> and 48 <em>InterCity<\/em> trains on the country&#8217;s main lines, doubling the number of trains available since the second phase of the COVID-19 health emergency began on May 18.<\/p>\n<p>Trenitalia\u2019s offer increases with a number of connections in line with current mobility demand, taking into account the 50% seat availability due to the \u201ccheckerboard\u201d reservation system that ensures social distancing is maintained.<\/p>\n<p>From June 3, travelers to and from Calabria will also benefit from two <em>Frecciargento<\/em> trains between Bolzano and Sibari. During phase 1 of the health emergency, <em>Frecciabianca<\/em> trains connecting Rome to Calabria were already running.<\/p>\n<p>Trenitalia remains committed to having maximum attention to people\u2019s needs, with health and hygiene as the top priority.
