In 2022, travel is “no strings attached.” TTG Travel Experience, manifestation of Italian Exhibition Group that comes back 12 from October to 14 coming to the Rimini exhibition centre, this year aims to represent a sector capable of broadening its horizons and boundaries, going beyond the traditional concept of holiday and freeing travel time, through the choice of mete where to experience new stimuli. This is the meaning of «Unbound», the theme of the 59th edition of TTG, which together with SIA Hospitality Design e SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, represents the most important Italian tourism marketplace.

Le destinations nationals are confirmed as the starting point of this exploration. Regions, municipalities, products, incoming tour operators, food and wine, cultural and experiential tourism operators will be the numerous protagonists of the pavilions of theITALY area, whose overall surface area will be increased.

An expanded area THE WORLD will bring in fair in Rimini the destinations international ones who choose to promote themselves on the Italian domestic market, while the historical section GLOBAL VILLAGE will host tour operators, cruises, airline companies, together with technology and service suppliers, to bring new commercial strategies and product innovations to the pavilions. Start-ups and innovative tourism companies will be presented in the TTG Next area, focused this year on the digitalisation of the sector. TTG also re-proposes Beactive, the exhibition area dedicated to active, sporting, slow, naturalistic and sustainable tourism. A space dedicated to bloggers and influencers will be there Social Media Lounge, with speeches organized by exhibitors for product presentations and the launch of new products.

The theme of travel "without constraints" will be the common thread of talks and special projects, from business case histories to the 4th edition of Book&Go, an initiative created to bring together travel writers and bloggers and to talk about new ways and new points of view for traveling and discovering the world. The prize is also on the program Character of the Year TTG2022, established by the TTG Italia magazine and dedicated to tourism industry professionals who, more than others, have been able to distinguish themselves during the year. Digitalisation, sustainability and experiences they will be at the center of the exhibition offer, which will integrate the consolidated product sectors of the event by intercepting suppliers of technologies and services and experiential travel.

Also scheduled are special events, meetings, roadshows and training events to summarize the global scenarios of tourism and hospitality and to tell the destinations tourism to buyers and operators. The promoted training of TTG, however, also continues outside the three days of the event in Rimini. With TTG Destination Masterclass the contents disclosed during the fair they become training modules throughout the year. TTG, in fact, puts the entire community of the Italian tourism product online to position itself on foreign markets with meetings between buyers and sellers in the territories, roadshows to present the destinations foreign to Italian buyers, training events. Among these, meetings are planned with operators to disseminate Travel & Hospitality Vision Masterclass: the first intensive course that in one day allows you to understand how to design new tourism products, anticipate the future of your market, differentiate yourself from competitors, innovate your offer and acquire a new competitive advantage.

The 71st edition of. will be held at the same time as TTG SIA, the most complete showcase in Italy for the hospitality sector with its wide exhibition offering linked to the themes of design, contract and services, which this year expands to the tourism sector open-air atmosphere. The world of seaside tourism will then be represented by SUN, now in its 40th edition. In the Beach Village area, operators will find new trends in products and services for beach holidays. Technologies in the foreground in the Sun Next Seastyle Area, to present the most innovative start-ups in the seaside tourism sector.

SIA and SUN are also focusing on training in 2022. In fact, there will be numerous events, seminars and talks organized to transfer to tourism professionals the knowledge tools to compete on the market and become real Hospitality Innovators. From the renewal of beach concessions to safety, from ecology to catering, from innovation to accessibility, the hottest topics in the sector will be touched upon with the support of accredited training partners.
