The United States promotes itself in theater with VisitUSA's Roadtrip America

Theater as a place to promote a destination. It is the latest idea from VisitUSA Italy which presents the Roadtrip America on February 8th at the San Fedele Auditorium in Milan.

To promote the United States, VisitUSA Italy could not find a location more winking at culture, such as that of a theatre, in Milan that prides itself on places like these. It is the latest innovative and exciting idea of ​​the board and the outgoing president of theVisitUSA Italy Association, Olga Mazzoni, who leaves the top after six years at the helm. A highly successful initiative which sold out the 450 seats of the theater with a sold-out which, in fact, highlights how innovative and cultural events can support promotion which often takes on only the most venal aspect.

"L 'VisitUSA Italy Association has decided to give up participating in Exhibitions of the sector and chooses other, more creative ways to promote the United States of America” reads the presentation note of the event. “With unique geographical, cultural and musical skills, he decides to create a show at the theatre on February 8th next  Milan at the San Fedele Auditorium, in the heart of the city. Thanks to the support of BRANDUSA, the Association - in fact - gives life to ROADTRIP AMERICA, representation of four travel itineraries in the United States decanted according to the style of VisitUSAItaly, in a single act.

«American roads are captivating in every season and in every geographical direction, but our choice fell on four routes that begin in US cities connected to flights directed from Italy. New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles and Chicago are the starting point of itinerant on-the-road experiences that cross the streets of at least 3 or 4 states, venturing into unique journeys, distinct in geography and feeling“, says Olga Mazzoni, outgoing President of the Association who proposed this new initiative to Brand USA for 2020.”We wanted to do something new, different and more engaging and fun; communicate to them United States through our passion and our storytelling, involving agents and customers».

The invitation to the theater Saturday 8 February is aimed at travel agencies, both those that have been following the association's activities for some time, as well as new ones, but all passionate about United States. They will be preferential guests together with their customers, friends and tourism journalists for an afternoon of leisure, offered free of charge. The intent is to inspire the journey to be made in 2020 and 2021, to show new ideas, to go out of the ordinary, to suggest and stimulate new journeys, to make people long for America also thanks to the musical pieces concerted with the help of AZ Blues and its musicians. To the actor-members of VisitUSA has the task of crossing the stage to narrate America through images and stories, iconic places, films on the big screen and on TV: one story telling choral, challenging the traditional formats of the classic tourist promotion that everyone knows. VisitUSA Italy puts its face to it – it must be said! – and creates new and informative entertainment with its own efforts, involving a significant number of members. The San Fedele Auditorium, with a capacity of 450 seats, a highly respectable layout and excellent acoustics, is above all known for its cultural activities".
