MarinoBus, the Italian brand of road passenger transport, announces important news for the coming summer: from July 4, after last year's debut of the lines on the Ionian side of Calabria and the excellent results recorded in the following months despite the pandemic, the buses "with the woodpecker" will also debut in the Cosenza area.
In particular, they will be served Cosenza and the municipalities of Tarsia, Spezzano, Frascineto, also passing by Lauria in Lucania and Sala Consilina in the province of Salerno. Travel solutions from will also increase Crotone and also from the surrounding area with the stops Cirò Marina, Cariati, Mirto Crosia, Rossano, Corigliano, Sibari and Amendola.
And, as if that wasn't enough, they will become part of the network from the same date MarinoBus many new destinations in the center and north: L'Aquila, Giulianova and Teramo in Abruzzo, Civitanova, San Benedetto del Tronto and Urbino in the Marche, Todi in Umbria, Arezzo in Tuscany, Piacenza in Emilia, Savona, Imperia, Sanremo and Ventimiglia in Liguria, Alessandria, Asti, Alba, Cuneo, Novara and Vercelli in Piedmont, Monza and Voghera in Lombardy, Rovereto in Trentino, Portogruaro in Veneto and Trieste, Monfalcone and Palmanova and Friuli Venezia Giulia. These new stops are added to the many others already served for some time in these regions.
The result is an increasingly widespread network of connections to comfortably reach, even from the southernmost centres, an incredible number of destinations throughout Italy – from Naples to Rome, from Perugia to Bologna, from Milan to Turin – and also abroad, from Switzerland to Germany, from France to Luxembourg.
Those who have traveled with MarinoBus in recent months have appreciated the levels of comfort and safety: spacious latest generation vehicles with XXL seats on which it is easy to respect distancing and on which the MarinoBus Safety Protocol applies. These are ad hoc rules and measures, tested for a year now: ordinary and extraordinary sanitisation operations, detection of body temperature, obligation to wear a mask, sanitisation of soles, safety seat covers and dividing curtains between passengers, which are added to the checking any documentation required for passengers (e.g. self-certifications, vaccination certificates, green passes).
Furthermore, they will also have the opportunity to travel on board one of the buses with the livery dominated by the profile of Dante Alighieri's face and with the reproduction of some of the most famous verses of the Comedy on board: these are buses created by MarinoBus within the of “La diritta via” with which the company celebrates the Supreme Poet on the 700th anniversary of his death. For the same reason, until the end of the year, tickets can be purchased online through the free MarinoBus app or on www.marinobus.it, by telephone on the always active number 080 3112335 or, finally, in person at one of the many travel agencies and authorized ticket offices - will be issued with special graphics dedicated to Dante and his famous verses.
